WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
"Hiring Athena as a vocal coach for myself and my band was one of the best decisions I have made. She is creative, fun to work with, and most importantly, has gotten great results! Top Qualities: Great Results, Personable, Creative" Dennis Hirdt (Internation Model & Musician)
"I have worked with Athena for 3 years and have witnessed her amazing rapport with children of all ages. I've seen her transform a first grade class of Spanish speaking students into a group of first class composers. Each child in Athena's classes feels special and gets to contribute something valuable to the process of writing the song. She raises their self esteem and helps them to accomplish something that they never thought possible." Kristen M. Nolan, Former Director of Education Manhattan New Music Project, Current Program Coordinator Theatre Action Project, Austin, TX
"We TRULY enjoyed your visit! Not only was your performance great, but the information you shared with our voice class was so very insightful. We discussed it at great length the next week - all of us found the techniques helpful and your acoustic performance was amazing." Debra Jones, Development Officer at Montcalm Community College
"I really enjoyed your workshop on Monday night. As a facilitator, you organized your presentation in an informal but effective way - very appropriate for the participants. You did a great job at making sure that people felt welcome and relaxed, and supported that with good activities. Everyone felt very comfortable to participate and add their views/information. Thanks for the opportunity to meet you, share your information and network with others. The energy in the room was electric and I'm sure we all have a bigger support system because of you!" Jan Singleton, Professor of Applied Arts at St. Lawrence College, Kingston
"Excellent teacher! There were several special circumstances involved in my daughter's songwriting lesson. Athena accomodated all of them. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and thinks Athena is a great teacher." Dan S., Parent of 11 year old student
"She makes it fun! My five year old daughter has really enjoyed her lessons with Athena. She makes it fun for her to learn basics as well as technique all while leaving her wanting more!" Susan A., Parent of 5 year old student
