How are you doing? What strange times these are. How odd all that we are getting accustomed to… A few quick things. Live Shows are now 3pm. Sensational Songwriting was such a joy to teach so we are doing it again starting Sept 1. Please reserve your slot! I am teaching it through the wonderful Sur Place in Montreal, but it’s online of course! I am so proud of the article that I just had published in Chatelaine Magazine. It asks some tough questions but speaks to my truth. Please check it out and share. I am told it’s getting flooded with hits as it comments on some hot news items. I am also proud of the activism I’ve been doing here in Toronto to push the government for more funding for a safe full time return to schools, so long as our numbers stay down (yesterday only one new case of covid in a city of 4 million, for example). Please see my speech at the rally last week.
We need to remind our governments to care for those who are most vulnerable during this recession/depression/crisis. That includes LGBT, single parents, People of Colour, the working poor, people who are ill, children with special needs, artists, essential workers, cleaners and more.
