Athena Reich recently moved back to Toronto (to escape Trump and raise her son here) after living and working in New York City for 16 years. Her show "Lady Gaga: #ARTBIRTH" (which received Time Out Critic's Pick in NYC) recently ran at the Berkeley Street Theatre this August/September 2017. Athena is also featured in the award winning documentary Vegas Baby, now available on iTunes (N. America) and Netflix (worldwide). Recent film/tv credits include a PSA for Film Canada with Sandra Oh (dir. Don McKellar), White Collar (USA Networks), The Perfect Murder (ID Channel), Redrum (ID Channel),  "An Evening with Donald Kempinski" (Little Fella Films) and "Hush: Inside the Waiting Womb" (LA / NY).  She studied extensively with Matt Newton in NYC. As a comic actress, Athena trained at the Upright Citizen's Brigade and Second City, and shared the stage with Jim Carrey and Janeane Garafalo.

Reich is a showboat with a great set of pipes that bear an uncanny resemblance to Gaga’s own, and she’s got more than a few aces up her sleeve. Her version of The Edge of Glory - rechristened here as The Edge of Labour - has her climbing over every inch of an upright piano while playing it (frequently upside-down). It’s hilarious, impressive and savvy... (Reich has) the promise of (a) star.
