haveababy has been invited to have its World Premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in NYC from April 13-24! This was truly meant to be: our premiere will take place during National Infertility Awareness Week, which is an incredible opportunity to reach a larger audience beyond the film festival itself.
Feel free to share the good news about the premiere, it was just publicly announced and we are excited to spread the word!!

Our HAVEABABY campaign is officially complete and it was a smashing success! A heartfelt THANK YOU to every single one of our 478 Backers who helped us raise over $54,000!!!
We are blown away by how much support we received over the last 30 days. The film was covered in the The New York Times and The Huffington Post, we were selected as indieWIRE Project of the Day, were honored to be Kickstarter Staff Pick and Project of the Day, and also to be featured on numerous curated Kickstarter film festival pages including Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Institute, SXSW, Rooftop Films Inc., IDFA, the International Documentary Association and IFP.
A central goal of this campaign was to develop a community and to start a conversation about infertility beyond the film. In anticipation of our film completion and this campaign, we posted our very first (and pretty emotional!) entry on Facebook exactly 2 months ago today, and have over a thousand followers now. We are so grateful and heartened by the show of support we've received over these last two months and we hope you will continue to follow the film as we bring it out into the world in 2016!!

Wow! Featured in the NY TIMES! I am SO PROUD to be in HAVEABABY, an incredible documentary about IVF and those that struggle with infertility. It is so moving and really sheds some light on something that you just can't understand unless you went through it or someone close to you. I adore my baby and I went through hell to get here... Welcome Phoenix to the world!
After a long journey struggling with infertility I am pleased to announce the birth of my son, Phoenix Emet Alexander Reich on August 29th, 2015. He is healthy and cuddly and I am adjusting to my new life!
Also, I wrote an article about my journey as a single lesbian mother by choice struggling with infertility and it is now published in the national magazine GO MAG. Had a great time at the 5th Annual Broadway Sings for Pride!
What a blast performing at ROAR to benefit the Tyler Clementi Foundation. Seriously the quality of Broadway Sings for Pride just gets better and better each year. It was insane.. I'll post videos as they appear online. I was fortunate to meet Tyler Clementi's family and they are lovely inspiring people who are doing amazing work against bullying. Tyler is the student at Rutgers who committed suicide after being exposed by bullies online for being gay.
And, in ditzier news, I totally rocked a sequined dress while 7 months pregnant :) And I got to open the whole show with BORN THIS WAY. Details to follow! And below is a video I did talking about gay pride to promote the show. Happy Pride everyone!

On set of THE PERFECT MURDER
We had a great time on set for The Perfect Murder. Lots of fresh grapes, cookies and great conversation kept us actors happy in between takes. I got to be interrogated really intensely, swarmed by the FBI and even lift a coffin. Can't wait till it airs on Discovery ID this June or July. I played Jackie Seale in the Exon Kidnapping in 1992... Stay tuned!
